For more than 40 years, Jump Rope for Heart has helped primary school kids stay active whilst raising money to help fund ground-breaking research that contributes to fighting heart disease.
Whether you are a complete beginner or seasoned skipper, the challenge is designed to strengthen your heart, whilst raising funds to help the hearts of others.
This November, we called on Australians both young and young at heart to rediscover the joy of skipping. Thank you for joining us for 30 days of fun with our Skip Your Way for 30 Days challenge.
Skipping for Healthy Hearts is a FREE six-week skipping program for kids. The program is designed to help kids develop healthy hearts while having fun. We provide all the equipment; you just need to bring your kids!
In 2022, Jump Rope for Heart, the Heart Foundation’s famous primary school skipping challenge, turned 40!
Exercise is good for our mind, body and our social lives. At the Heart Foundation, we love getting moving each day, in any way we can. Every step, squat, skip and jump counts and starting small is absolutely fine.
