Asking the Question of Origin course was developed through the Lighthouse Hospital Project to improve patient care and support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This course provides training for health professionals on how to identify Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.
Increase understanding of the importance, responsibilities and reasons for identifying Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, in line with standard practice.
Improve knowledge, skills and confidence to identify Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and record identification data in line with standard practice.
