Catalyst Showcase – General Registration Consent

1. Introduction

1.1. By registering to attend for the Catalyst Showcase (“Event”), you consent to the below terms and our Privacy Notice on our website.

2.1. Registration for the Event is free of charge.

2.2. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1. All materials presented during the Event by the presenters, including but not limited to presentations, documents, and multimedia content, are the property of the presenters.

3.2. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publish any materials without prior written consent from the presenters.

4. Liability and Indemnity

4.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Heart Foundation shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your attendance at the Event.

4.2. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Heart Foundation, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from the Event.

5.1. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and as outlined in our Privacy Notice.

5.2. By registering for the Event, we may contact you with information, marketing and promotion related to the Event and you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of any personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Photography and Recording

6.1. The Event will be photographed, recorded, or filmed for promotional purposes, and the content may be shared publicly, including on media and social media platforms.

6.2. By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed or recorded and grant the Heart Foundation the right to use any such media without compensation.

6.3 The Heart Foundation reserves the right to publicise and report on the Event, including the attendance and involvement of attendees at the Catalyst Showcase.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

7.1. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this consent shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
