

Oat based fruit crumble
Use quality oats for a twist on a classic pudding.
- 1/4 cup wholemeal plain flour
- 3/4 cup rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 Granny Smith apples, cored and peeled, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons water
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- Combine rolled oats, flour, cinnamon, maple syrup and olive oil into a bowl and mix until combined.
- To prepare the filling, combine apples, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl and stir until well combined. Transfer to a 1.5 litre ovenproof dish and add water.
- Spoon crumble mixture over the apples. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or unti golden and apples are soft.
