Public consultation: New Australian elevated blood pressure and hypertension guideline
We are seeking your feedback on the new Australian guideline for elevated blood pressure and hypertension. A guideline made in partnership between the Heart Foundation, Stroke Foundation and Hypertension Australia.
The new Australian guideline for diagnosis and management of elevated blood pressure and hypertension provides guidance and recommendations on the diagnosis thresholds, measurement, management and follow-up of elevated blood pressure and hypertension. It was developed in line with the National Health and Medical Research Council guideline standards, and has been drafted by individuals with expertise and lived experience in this area.
To ensure the guideline is of the highest quality, and meets the needs of other health professionals and people with ACS, we encourage health organisations, health professionals, and the broader community to provide feedback.
The guideline public consultation will be open from <1st XX to 30th XX>.
Note there will be no extensions beyond this timeframe.
