Course overview

The Heart Foundation supports the ongoing maintenance and updating of clinical guidelines for managing acute rheumatic fever (ARF) and rheumatic heart disease (RHD) in collaboration with Menzies School of Health Research. These guidelines are hosted on the RHD Guidelines website.

The ARF and RHD e-learning courses, developed by Australian experts, align with the 2020 Australian guideline for the prevention, diagnosis, and management of ARF and RHD. These courses cover ARF and RHD prevention, diagnosis, and management.
