More Australians die of Heart Disease than any other cause.

And the heartache lasts a lifetime. But you can help the Heart Foundation fund life-saving research to keep more families together.

We believe in a future free of heart disease.

Your donation today can help support new research areas into the causes and treatments of heart disease.

Archie was only 11 when he saw his dad, Paul, suffer a heart attack on the hockey field. For Paul, his immediate concern was not for his own safety, but for the wellbeing of his wife and three kids should something detrimental happen to him.

At the hospital, Paul was surprised to discover that not only had he suffered a heart attack, but an angiogram revealed two severely clogged arteries – one of them so badly blocked it was essentially a time bomb, or what doctors refer to as a ‘widow maker’. The very next day, Paul underwent life-saving surgery to put in two stents.

Unfortunately, not everyone is as lucky as Paul. Your donation today can help support new research areas into the causes and treatments of heart disease so that families like Paul’s can stay together for longer.
