Archie was only 11 when he saw his dad, Paul, suffer a heart attack on the hockey field. For Paul, his immediate concern was not for his own safety, but for the wellbeing of his wife and three kids should something detrimental happen to him.

At the hospital, Paul was surprised to discover that not only had he suffered a heart attack, but an angiogram revealed two severely clogged arteries – one of them so badly blocked it was essentially a time bomb, or what doctors refer to as a ‘widow maker’. The very next day, Paul underwent life-saving surgery to put in two stents.
