Advancing Cardiovascular Technology

Years funded:
2017 - 2020

Improvements in computational technology are needed to address the significant community burden of cardiovascular disease.

This future leader fellowship addresses this need in three ways:

(i) Developing new technologies to treat cardiovascular disease -exemplified by signal processing research;

(ii) Developing computational technology to prevent cardioascular disease - exemplified by research into mobile device lifestyle intervention

(iii) synthesizing the evidence to treat cardiovascular disease.

The projects involve an innovative mix of public sector and privately funded research in cardiac technology.
