Workplace giving program

Workplace giving is a simple and tax effective way for employees to make regular donations to a cause they care about.

You can help fight the single biggest killer of Australians – heart disease

Workplace giving is a simple and tax effective way for employees to make regular donations to a cause they care about. But importantly, it allows you and your employees to rally around a cause – heart disease.

Through you and your team’s generous support, the Heart Foundation funds life-saving research and works to improving heart disease prevention and care for all Australians.

Workplace giving is a win-win-win for employees, employers and the Heart Foundation.

  • For companies, workplace giving is a smart way to demonstrate a strategic commitment to corporate social responsibility by making an investment in your community.
  • For employees, it provides an opportunity to make a positive difference to the organisations you support, and most importantly, it delivers positive financial impact for charities, with 99 per cent of all donations going directly to the cause.
  • As a charity, the Heart Foundation relies on donations from people like you. You can make a big difference to the heart health of many Australians while simply going about your day-to-day work.

How it works

When you give $4
It only costs you $2
Your employer could match your $4
The Heart Foundation receives $8

* based on an annual gross salary of $65,000

What’s the impact of your donation?

For the same cost as a cup of coffee, you can make a real difference in our fight against the leading killer of Australians – heart disease.

 Monthly donationImpact
$6could pay for a bottle of nutrient solution to grow heart cells, which researchers can then study and understand more about how they work.
$10can fund a DNA purification process called DNA electrophoresis, which helps researchers determine genetic susceptibility to various forms of cardiovascular disease.
$30could provide an entire school with activities and education that includes physical activity and nutrition as part of the Jump Rope for Heart program.
