Organise a fundraising event
It’s a lot easier, and more fun, than you think to organise a fundraiser as a Heart Foundation corporate partner. It’s also a great way to get people in your company involved and promote teamwork.
Of course, we’re here to help with ideas, such as selling Heart Foundation merchandise to staff, raffles, corporate fun runs, movie nights, sports events and so much more.

To inspire you, following are some examples of events run by corporate organisations to support the Heart Foundation
How AMP Capital Shopping Centres ran with it
Together with 80,000 other enthusiastic starters, over 200 AMP staff, family and friends ran, walked and, at times, shuffled their way to Bondi Beach in support of the Heart Foundation’s Go Red for Women in the 2010 City2Surf.
To get everyone ready for the big day, and fundraise at the same time, a Wellness Expo was held the Friday before the race. Staff made generous donations, purchased raffle tickets and enjoyed massages, foot assessments, Pilates demonstrations and physiotherapy assessments.
Between the Wellness Expo and online fundraising by the AMP team, more than $5,000 was raised, which was matched by the AMP Foundation for a total donation of over $10,000.
Many thanks to AMP’s fantastic staff, family and friends for putting their bodies and soles on the line to raise valuable funds to help us raise awareness amongst women of the impact of heart disease. What an achievement.
A red-hot event from UNCLE TOBYS® In June 2010, UNCLE TOBYS® celebrated Go Red for Women month in a particularly apt way by running Go Red Nail Bars in selected AMP shopping centres.
The bars offered free red nail polish manicures in exchange for a gold coin voluntary donation to the Heart Foundation. This red-hot idea was not only a great hit with shoppers, but it also raised awareness of Go Red for Women heart health message directly to our target audience, and some much-appreciated funds to spread the message even further. Great job team!
