Heart disease is the number one killer of Australian women – a fact most women
don’t know.
Women’s Health Queensland Wide and the Heart Foundation are working together
to educate Queensland women about their risk of cardiovascular disease and what
steps they can take to reduce their risk.
To help achieve this goal we have developed a series of online videostreams with
practical advice for better heart health.
Please click here to visit Women’s Health Queensland Wide to view the videostreams.
Each videostream is approximately 7 minutes long, can be viewed at any time and place that is convenient to you and is presented by Brisbane cardiologist Dr Lisa Walters and health professsionals from the Heart Foundation.
The videostreams available include:
- Five fast facts on women’s heart health.
- Leonie’s story.
- Shopping tips for a healthy heart.
- Heart health for women over 40.
- Physical activity - find your 30.
