Special Offer for 2012

South Australian Activities

We are looking forward to another big year for Heart Foundation Jump Rope for Heart in 2012.

The Heart Foundation is aiming to raise over $400,000 through community support of Jump Rope for Heart in SA to help fight Australia's number one killer, cardiovascular disease. We would like to thank the efforts of the many enthusiastic teachers and students as well as the generosity of the local community in helping us aim for this ambitious $400,000 goal.

As well as raising money to help the Heart Foundation's fight against heart disease and stroke, a registered school can enjoy the benefits of Heart Foundation skipping resources, including the registration kit, a demo team visit and workshops/inservices conducted by Heart Foundation staff.

Testimonials from teachers

I have enjoyed managing the program and seeing the children participating and developing their skills while having fun!                                       - Frank, St Agnes Primary School

The students were a lot more motivated to get outside and be active. It’s incredible watching how much the students’ gross motor and fine skills have developed through skipping. Thank you for running a terrific program.  -Teena,St Jakobi Lutheran School

The students were so keen to skip that they would practice every recess and lunch time for the duration of the program. It kept them active and out of trouble in the yard because they had something to do. They could all achieve and improve in some way at their own level. An excellent program that cannot be faulted.                               - Marie, Peterborough Primary School

We found the whole experience trouble free and very worthwhile. The students fitness/skills improved while learning about heart health and diet. Students’ confidence and perseverance were enhanced!                                         - Ann, Seaford K-7 School
