The Heart Foundation and Deakin University have today released Australian Heart Disease Statistics 2014, the most comprehensive set of statistics about cardiovascular disease and associated risk factors.
For the first time in Australia, national data relating to cardiovascular disease has been brought together in a single comprehensive resource. It tells a compelling story about the changing nature of cardiovascular disease. And it is both good and bad news.

Research Medal nominations now open

Nominations are now open for the Heart Foundation Research Medal for Lifetime Contribution to Cardiovascular Research. This prestigious award recognises outstanding individual contribution to heart, stroke and blood vessel disease research in Australia over a sustained period.
