By offering comprehensive support for researchers through the Postdoctoral and Future Leader Fellowships, the Heart Foundation is fostering future leaders of research, leading to the development of sustainable cardiovascular research in Australia.
The Postdoctoral Fellowship encourages and supports early career cardiovascular health researchers to develop research skills and independence from an early stage. In doing so, it helps further their research career as they become more competitive for future funding from a range of sources.
Eligibility criteria: Applicants must be in their first 3 years post-PhD in any area of cardiovascular health research, including biomedical, clinical, public health and health service delivery.
Duration: 2 years
Value: Stipend of $75,000 pro rata per annum
