Partnership Engagement Grants
Applications are now open
The Partnership Engagement Grant (PEG) provides a mechanism by which researchers can approach the Heart Foundation with proposals for the organisation to contribute to partnership grant applications to other funding agencies. The award uses Heart Foundation funds to leverage significant additional funding from other sources and supports large-scale cardiovascular research projects through partnerships with researchers.
By partnering with the Heart Foundation, researchers benefit from association with a large, reputable organisation that will enhance their ability to attract further funding. Although this scheme is predominantly aimed at NHMRC Partnerships for Better Health Projects (Partnership Projects) and ARC Linkage Projects, other partnership grant types will be considered.
The award provides financial, reputational and in-kind support. The Heart Foundation may agree to enter into up to two partnership projects in any PEG round.
There are currently three projects that have successfully gained funding via the Partnership Engagement Grants.
Eligibility criteria: Open to all researchers with cardiovascular research projects of interest to the Heart Foundation
Duration: Up-front one-off funding support (project may be multi-year).
Value: Up to $150,000 in cash contribution
