Career Development Fellowships
Career Development Fellowships are the most prestigious award offered by the Heart Foundation Research Program. Recipients must be of an exceptional calibre with a proven track record of independent research.
The purpose of a Career Development Fellowship is to help further the career of researchers who are 2-12 years postdoctoral. Applicants are expected to have spent at least four years actively contributing to cardiovascular disease research or related disorders. These researchers will have demonstrated a long-term commitment to advancing our understanding of cardiovascular disease.
Heart Foundation Career Development Fellowships are tenable for four years and may be full or part-time. Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents. The Heart Foundation salary scales for this award will be based on those set by the NHMRC for their Career Development Fellowships.
