Heart Foundation Walking is an established low intensity physical activity program that is easy and inexpensive to implement in the workplace. It benefits individual participants, employers and workplaces.
As a Heart Foundation Walking Workplace Coordinator you will receive ongoing incentives, training, support and resources from the Heart Foundation.

Are you interested in starting a workplace walking group?
Being a volunteer Workplace Walk Organiser is fun and easy. You only need one other walker to start a group and it only takes 5 minutes a week on top of the time actually spent walking. You will also receive great support and resources from the Heart Foundation including shirt and hat.
4 easy steps to being a Walk Organiser:

Register as a Workplace Walk Organiser and complete the brief training session

Promote your group and welcome new members

Plan your group walking routes and attend as many group walks as possible

Act as a link between your group and the Heart Foundation
