The Heart Foundation has released two information sheets to encourage Australian adults and families to sit less and move more. "Sitting less for adults" and "Sitting less for children" outline the effects sitting for too long has on your health and give tips on how to decrease your sitting time.
At work, school and home, Australians are sitting for long periods of time each day. It only takes small changes in your routine to reduce the amount of time you sit each day and improve your heart health.
