The Heart Foundation has established an effective team structure, bringing together employees and volunteers to help fulfill our mission. We currently employ over 330 paid staff across Australia with offices in all capital cities, as well as some regional cities.

Paid employment
The Heart Foundation provides employment opportunities across a wide range of disciplines including:

Health and Research, including Nurses, Nutritionists, Dieticians, Public Health professionals. 
Fundraising, including donor relations, direct mail, major gifts, event management, corporate relations, merchandising.
Corporate functions including Finance, Administration, IT and Human Resources.
Public Relations and Communications.

Volunteering
Our volunteers come in all shapes and sizes - from those who dedicate their time every week to help us with opening and sorting mail, to those who speak on our behalf in regional areas, those who run walking programs, to board members offering their broad corporate achievements and business perspective, and a myriad of professional advisory committee members who bring subject matter expertise in research, or cardiology for example, to the table, ensuring that when the Heart Foundation provides guidance to Australia it is well informed.
