Each year the Heart Foundation actively seeks opportunities with government, corporate, education and research institutions and other charities to maximise opportunities in order to fund outstanding research.

The Heart Foundation is extremely proud of the co-funding partnerships established with the following affiliates and acknowledges their contribution to furthering research into supporting valuable cardiovascular research.


Cardiac Society of Australia & New Zealand (CSANZ)

The objectives of the CSANZ are the advancement of knowledge of the cardiovascular system, the maintenance of professional and ethical standards and the promotion of good fellowship among those whose primary interest is in the practice of cardiovascular medicine, surgery and research.

Diabetes Australia

Diabetes Australia was established in 1937 as a support group but how forms a large group of organisations dedicated to improving the health of consumers and reducing the impact of diabetes.

Foundation for High Blood Pressure Research

The Foundation for High Blood Pressure Research was formed in 1994 as part of the High Blood Pressure Research Council of Australia (HBPRCA). The High Blood Pressure Research Council of Australia is associated with cutting-edge research into the causes, prevention and treatment of high blood pressure.

Macquarie Bank Foundation

The Macquarie Foundation is one of Australia s oldest and largest corporate foundations and contributes in excess of $12.6M a year to the community.
