Our vision is to provide major advances in knowledge that will lead to improved cardiovascular health and better prevention and management of cardiovascular disease.
Research Program Objectives
- To fund outstanding research across the areas of biomedical, clinical and public health.
- To advocate for increased funding for cardiovascular research.
- To establish and maintain alliances to support the generation, dissemination and uptake of cardiovascular research.
- To market Heart Foundation supported research outcomes and policy to external stakeholders.
- To communicate research activities and outcomes within the Heart Foundation.
- To support the translation and use of knowledge generated by cardiovascular research.
Evaluation
The Heart Foundation Research Program is evaluated annually, benchmarking our research program against others nationally and internationally.
