Heart Foundation Research Vision

Our vision is to provide major advances in knowledge that will lead to improved cardiovascular health and better prevention and management of cardiovascular disease.

Research Program Objectives

• To fund outstanding research across the areas of biomedical, clinical and public health. 
• To advocate for increased funding for cardiovascular research. 
• To establish and maintain alliances to support the generation, dissemination and uptake of cardiovascular research.
• To market Heart Foundation supported research outcomes and policy to external stakeholders.  
• To communicate research activities and outcomes within the Heart Foundation.  
• To support the translation and use of knowledge generated by cardiovascular research.

Evaluation

The Heart Foundation Research Program is evaluated annually, benchmarking our research program against others nationally and internationally.
