National Health Priorities

In 1999 the Australian government and several non-government organisations came together to ensure a forward momentum in improving cardiovascular health in Indigenous Australians. The focus of these discussions was based around the recommendations of the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing, National Health Priority Area Report on Cardiovascular Disease, 1998.
