Managing Chronic Heart Failure

Early diagnosis and appropriate management of chronic heart failure (CHF) is vital for prolonging survival and improving outcomes for the estimated 300,000 Australians living with this condition.

The guidelines and tools listed below were developed for general practitioners, cardiologists, nurses and other health professionals involved in the care of patients with CHF in Australia, and have been endorsed by key stakeholders, including the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
