Blood Pressure

Blood Pressure

Blood pressure is the pressure of your blood in your arteries as the heart pumps it around your body.

If your blood pressure remains high, it can lead to serious problems, such as a heart attack, a stroke, heart failure or kidney disease.

High blood pressure (also known as 'hypertension') usually has no warning signs. Therefore, it is important that you have regular blood pressure checks.
