Five Steps to a Healthy Lifestyle
Australian kids are not as healthy as they should be. Many of them are putting on excess weight and not losing it as they get older. Over the last 20 years, rates of overweight and obesity in children have risen greatly in many countries around the world, including Australia.

The Healthy Kids website, developed jointly by the Heart Foundation and the NSW Departments of Health, Education and Sport and Recreation provides tips on achieving a healthy life and links to other great information on this topic. There are also six fact sheets that have been translated into 10 different languages available for download from the Healthy Kids website.
