A donation of $100 will enable 20 people to speak to the Heart Foundation's professional heart health information service staff and receive heart health materials.
A donation of $200 will enable the distribution of our latest heart disease management guide to over 100 health professionals, to provide the best possible care for heart patients.
A donation of $500 will help us fund a world-class research project for two days.
While our vital work has resulted in significant improvements and advances, we still have a long way to go as cardiovascular disease remains Australia's leading killer for men and women. In fact, cardiovascular disease claims an Australian life every 10 minutes and is responsible for more than one in three deaths every year.

How We Make A Difference:
Support and Prevention:
We run Australia's only heart health information service. Enquiries are answered by our professionally trained staff. Just call 1300 36 27 87 for the cost of a local call or email.
The Heart Foundation develops best-care clinical guidelines for doctors to ensure hospital patients receive world-class care, no matter where they live.
Medical breakthroughs:
We have helped achieve some of the most significant heart health medical breakthroughs in the world. From the introduction of pacemakers, to pioneering healthier food choices through the Tick program, we are striving to provide the very best heart health information for Australians. For every $1 invested in cardiovascular research there is an enormous $8 return on investment.
Research:
The Heart Foundation is the largest source of funding for leading-edge heart research outside of the government. We're funding more than 150 research awards this year alone.
Public Awareness:
The Heart Foundation conducts ongoing public awareness campaigns to raise awareness of cardiovascular health in Australia. We also run Jump Rope for Heart, Australia's best school-based skipping program and many community based walking programs.
We hope you will continue to support us.
