The Heart Foundation values active living and strives to support all Australians to be active across the lifespan. The Heart Foundation support the National Physical Activity recommendations of Australians, which outline the minimum levels of physical activity required to gain a health benefit and ways to incorporate incidental physical activity into everyday life.
Getting active everyday can be great fun and shouldn't be seen as a chore! Find as many ways as you can to get active for 30 minutes or more, on most, if not all days of the
week.

The Active Living team seeks to increase opportunities to increase physical activity where people live and work.
By focusing on creating supportive environments for behaviour change, we help influence the social and political framework for the adoption of healthy lifestyles and facilitate healthy choices.
